They have a great selection (so it seems) and decent pricing (again, so it seems). He had said the process was quick and pretty painless and so I figured I'd try them out. I went to purchase a car from Shift on the word-of-mouth advertising by a fellow co-worker. However, I’d be more than happy to train your folks on how it’s done. I’ve been in the car business for over 15 years until just a few years ago when I decided on a career change. By the afternoon (Today), the vehicle was delivered to my front door. I found the vehicle at a dealership, made an inquiry, spoke with a sales person and a finance manager and put the deal together last night. Because of this, I made the decision to look elsewhere. I decided to give your company a try after my wife and sister-in-law both had great experiences. Many of the reviews share the same sentiment. Please add this to the numerous recent Negative reviews that I discovered while waiting for someone from your company to update me. The lack of professionalism that I’ve experienced during this process send a message that your company believes that they are the only option available when purchasing a vehicle and that I just need to wait until it’s convenient for you to communicate with me. I’ve had to initiate every interaction with your company. Every single person disappointingly never called back. Every single person that I’ve managed to get on the phone with has promised to follow up with me to provide updates on the status of my order. From the moment that I clicked on the “Make it mine” button to the present day, it has been a very frustrating process. My response to a survey that was emailed to me by Shift:Ĭommunication with your company has been extremely challenging. Overall, I would strongly discourage anyone from making the same mistake I did with this company. The car has been a colossal disappointment, and the company's handling of the situation is unforgivable. This isn't just about a faulty car it's about the trust and credibility of a company that has failed its customers on many fronts. However, when I ran into the devastating mechanical issues within this period, they decided to ignore their commitment, leaving me in a state of despair. I was promised a 7-day trial period, a safety net for the customers. They even had the audacity to dishonor their own policies. From sales to customer service, the lack of professionalism and dedication was palpable, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Every single interaction with them was utterly displeasing. The company's service was horrendous, to say the least. Right off the bat, the car was riddled with major engine and transmission issues, two components you'd assume were inspected meticulously before selling.īut it doesn't end there. Despite promising a robust and quality vehicle, they delivered an absolute clunker. The car I recently purchased from this company has been nothing short of a disastrous nightmare. Not worth the time and frustration that they put me through, and would definitely not recommend them to anyone else. I felt as if I could have gone through less stress and work if I had just gone with a normal dealership. The fact that I had to go digging around and asking so many questions really didn't sit well with me, since Shift's main selling point is that they take care of all the paperwork for you. Not to mention that there were plenty of issues with warranties, payments, and a lot more else. They never returned phone calls, emails, and I had to resort to calling my Car Enthusiast who was out of state. However, as soon as I put the deposit in and I was told that the delivery team would reach out to me to set a delivery date and time, it was as if I was blocked completely from any form of communication with the Shift Headquarters. Up until that point, they were on point with responding to emails, phone calls, and any sort of communication. Everything was going well until I put in the deposit for the vehicle.
